Le documentaire SUB Berlin retrace l’histoire du club légendaire berlinois, le Trésor. Cet ancien centre commercial désaffecté dans le quartier de Potsdamer Platz a été pendant plus de dix ans, le point de chute, le repère de tous les pioners de la musique électronique. Le petit bonus du dvd, une bande-originale regroupant tous les classiques du genre comme Stewart Walker, Underground Resistance/X-101, Pacou ou encore Scan7. Disponible en dvd à partir d’avril 2012.

Découvrez une planète désertique de la galaxie Kin-dza-dza, peuplée d’humanoïdes télépathes, à mi-chemin entre l’univers de Philip k. Dick et « La Soupe aux choux ».

Tim Burton s’installe à Paris

Paris a été choisis pour être la seule ville européenne à accueillir l’exposition Tim burton conçue en 2009 par le MoMa à New York. À partir du 5 mars, courrez donc à la Cinémathèque et vivez vous aussi au rythme des créations folles du génie de Tim Burton. Une belle occasion de revoir tous ses films mais aussi de découvrir ses talents de dessinateur, photographe, sculpteur, peintre…et bien d’autres!

Impregnated by Music? In Electrick Children, Rachel, a young Mormon girl, discovers a forbidden cassette tape with rock music on it on her 15th birthday, and ends up pregnant three months later. She believes it’s immaculate conception while her religious family thinks of her condition as an intolerable transgression and arrange her marriage. But Rachel runs away to Vegas, to meet the man singing on the tape, thinking that he has something to do with her mysterious pregnancy…The movie was presented at the Berlin Film Festival February 10th, and will be shown at SXSW, before its official release in theaters everywhere.


BOY COMING TO AMERICA MARCH 2012

Kia Ora! Boy is an hilarious and heartfelt coming-of-age movie talking about heroes, magic and Michael Jackson. It became a great success in New Zealand and it is now coming to America in March. Director  Taika Waititi, explains that he needs as many people as possible to see the movie. So as I HEART liked it, we want to help him too !
